I received my medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. I completed a surgical internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and my residency in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama. I am board certified in radiation oncology and serve as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology for the Walt Disney Memorial Cancer Institute at Florida Hospital.

In addition, I attended training courses at the renowned center for prostate seed implants, the Northwest Tumor Institute in Seattle, Washington, as well as Gamma Knife Radiosurgery training at the University of Pittsburgh.
